Some services for offenders are provided through partners, either by referral or under contract: alcohol services for the community - james kingham project Provide an alchol-free environment, enabling and empowering offenders in Bedford and Luton to gain control over their alcohol use. Also helps people affected by offenders' use of alcohol. Bedford and Luton Citizens Advice Bureau Provide a specialist debt and benefit advice and case work service Bedford Institute of Technology Working in partnership with the local Learning Skills Council to provide Skills for Life initial assessments and follow-up teaching sessions. They also provide offenders learning opportunities up to NVQ level 2. Central Bedfordshire Council & Luton Borough Council - Adult & Community Learning Working in partnership with the local Learning Skills Council to provide Skills for Life initial assessments and follow-up teaching sessions. They also provide information, advice and guidance on employment and education. The Bedfordshire John Howard Society - Luton Foyer Luton based Charity offering free advice, information and support on housing options: hostels, privately rented, local authority, housing association, supported or specialist housing. They also provide free advice, information and support on: legal rights, setting up and maintaining a tenancy, options for financial support, disputes and landlord issues; employment, training and education; basic IT, internet and email course; money and debt; immigration.
